Scarlet Cross - The Rutgers Medieval History and Reenactment Club

About

Scarlet Cross is an undergraduate student organization at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Our group's purpose is not only to study, but to re-enact some of the more interesting parts of Medieval history.

We research life in the medieval period, (600–1600 CE ) and attempt to recreate many of the day to day activities that many people living back then would have experienced. If you like: camping, singing, dancing, needlework, costuming, metalworking (and many other activities), we have something for you!
We also do recreation armored combat with padded weapons!

Our general meetings on Thursdays weekly in the Douglass Student Center, Meeting Room B, 8-9 pm every Thursday.

Our fighter practices are on Tuesday nights from 7 PM to 10:00 PM on Livingston Campus, behind the Livingston Plaza Bus Stop, directly across from Henry's diner. If you want to participate *bring an athletic cup*, but spectators are always welcome and require no equipment!
