TRY OUTS Friday September 6th, starting at 3pm
The Rutgers Club Golf team encourages students of all skills to come and improve their passion for the game of golf. The Club Golf team also attempts to create relationships and a community between all of our members.
Recreational
All of our members are eligible to participate in recreational events. Recreational events include Friday range sessions and lessons during the week. All recreational events are weather permitting. Lessons are given throughout the week from members of the competitive team to any member of the team. Other recreational events such as drive chip and putt contests or playing events are scheduled when possible. Dues $75
Competitive
Our team also offers a competitive aspect. Throughout the Fall and Spring semesters we compete in NCCGA regional tournaments. There are normally 3 tournaments a semester. Qualifiers and prior tournament scores are used to determine rosters and lineups for our competitive teams. In Spring 2023, our team placed 5th at the NCCGA National tournament. Dues $100
Eboard
Our Eboard consists of a group of people passionate about the game of golf as well as the club itself. All of the Eboard members are well qualified as well as experienced in their respective jobs.

Where We Practice/Play
Our home course is the Rutgers Golf Course located on Busch campus. The website for more specific directions as well as information about the course can be found at http://golfcourse.rutgers.edu. If you have a car or know of someone who can drive to the course this would be the best option. Those students who can’t provide transportation on their own can use Rutgers buses to Busch. It is only a ten minute walk from either the ARC or Hill bus stops to the course. We normally meet by the putting green.
History
Rutgers Club Golf is a relatively new club at the University. Started after Covid we have grown tremendously year after year. As a club we hope to continue this growth with some of our members joining the club sports office this upcoming fall!
