National Day of Action on Reproductive Justice

This event is being brought to you from GSA, Rutgers AAUP-AFT, RUSA, VPVA and SPAR. We have a tabling event and a panel around various reproductive and LGBTQIA+ issues. We will have a voter registration table, safe sex practice pamphlets and product giveaways, informational table from Violence Prevention and Victim's Assistance group and will be collecting signatures for a petition with various demands on reproductive and LGBTQIA+ issues. 

We will also have a panel from 6-7pm in the Raritan River Lounge at Student Activities Center on College Avenue Campus. (getInvolved posting)

Background on this event: Graduate Student Action Network (GSAN) is a growing national group of graduate students in over 50 schools in 30 states who came together in June 2022 to make and demand change for reproductive justice, LGTBQIA+ rights, wages and healthcare, anti-racism, climate justice and sustainability, anti-Imperialism and Indigenous struggles, and more, through student organization and mobilization. They have called together a national day of action all across the US to make local and national demands around reproductive issues and LGBTQIA+ rights. The coalition of groups putting this event together at Rutgers have come up with our own demands on reproductive and LGBTQIA+ issues.
